About the team
Ms. Sandira Calviac has an extensive background in high-tech
industry, in the Mobile and Internet space, occupying various
business development, marketing and project management positions
in London, Paris and New York.
She started her first company in London, providing SEO and web
positioning to blue-chip companies such as Jaguar, Scotland
Yard's Forensic Science Service or iBazar/eBay.
Ms. Calviac currently lives in New York where she moved to
hold a position at Baracoda, Inc., a leading Bluetooth Wireless
barcode scanner manufacturer, as a Business Development and
Channel Executive. She also served as Director of Marketing at Scanbuy, Inc., a
Mobile Catalyst's client.
She is on the board of Cyber-Elles, a European network for high-tech
female decision makers and has been involved for a number of
years in several other networking organizations and set up social
events in Paris and New York. Ms. Sandira Calviac also headed the New York chapter of Ecademy, an online business network.
On a personal note, Ms. Calviac loves to be surrounded by mobile and high-tech gadgets.
Her nicknames include “human router” or “Sandira,
connecting people” ;-) She enjoys frequent business trips as well as exotic travels.
